Bathing in Pee

Evan didn't want to bathe today until I told him he could bathe in pee. The boys got tub paints for Christmas and they color the water. What color did he choose, not blue or green, but yellow of course, because it would be so cool. He loves bathing in pee water (let's just hope he doesn't make his own).

Election 2008

Brandon and I were pretty sure who we wanted to vote for, but this quiz confirmed it. Try it out. You answer 14 questions I think, and then it tells you which presidential candidate you agree with the most all the way to who you agree with the least.

Stucki Fisherman

Evan was trying to teach Kyle how to fish. I don't think he gets it yet. Evan tried and tried, but Kyle just chewed on the rod.

In the end Evan managed to catch a big one, and Kyle drooled on a few of them.

Experiencing the Arts

We need fun rainy day activities around here, and this is one Evan particularly likes. He has created some fine artwork that he likes to display in his room.
Lucky for me it cleans up easy.

Wrestle Mania

I get the impression this is only the beginning of what is to come at our house. Kyle was sitting peacefully on the floor when apparently Evan got to close, so Kyle tackled him. Once he had him pinned they both laughed forever. I should have videotaped it. I'm sure I'll get another chance.

In other news, Evan informed me a few days ago, "Daddy is in the bathroom putting Jello in his hair."

12 Days of Christmas

Okay, last one. My cousin posted a video of our family singing the 12 Days of Christmas. This was Evan's first year as a singer and I think he did quite well as the partridge. Check out the link and decide for yourself.

Let it Snow!!!

We woke up to snow this morning. Not much, maybe an inch, but enough for school to get a 2 hour delay (although that doesn't impact us anymore....yeah!) . Evan and I went out to create his first ever snowman. Not bad for a first try. He does have a nose, but Evan picked a very light colored stick for it. The mouth fell out, oh well. Evan loves him, with or without a mouth.

Aunt Tay (Katie) was home for Christmas and the boys love her. Evan loves her so much it apparently makes him feel/look a little bit stoned. They were pretty pumped about their new matching pjs.
I love this picture. Evan is trying to get Kyle to look at the camera, but it looks more like he is going to strangle him, which appears to be the impression Kyle got from the situation as well.
Bryce and Camille stopped by after Christmas for a quick visit. We had time for a little Guitar Hero. Evan didn't want anyone to feel left out so he got out all his guitars to create a whole Guitar Hero Band. Very intense play at our house.

7 Months Old

Here is our big fat 7 month old. He is starting to scoot around the floor sitting up which is funny to watch. He won't roll over much, or lay on his back, but he likes to scoot on his bum. Whatever works I guess.Apparently he thinks he is cute in this outfit. I agree.
Kyle the thinker, or maybe he is trying to tell me to put the camera away before he punches me.
The official 7 month birthday. Wasn't he cute for church?!

Posing just like Mommy. Believe it or not he crossed his legs just like me all by himself.

Christmas Morning

Better late than never right? We had the stomach flu the week of Christmas, so there aren't many Christmas pictures, but here are a few of the boys. Luckily we are all recovered now.Kyle really liked the duck Santa brought and his new stacking cups until his brother scattered them across the room.
Just what Evan asked for. A big green dinosaur.
Kyle's favorite present. Not the toy, the wrapping paper of course.
Evan trying to unwrap the next gift while still holding on to the last one.
