Happy Girl

I know it isn't the clearest photo, but it is too cute. Apparently she really likes wearing pink. Good news, she also tolerates being dressed up really well as we tried a few outfits on her today to find one that fit right.
Here is what the boys have been doing to entertain themselves. Playing dress up and "superheros." I should have taken a shot of Kyle that shows off the whole outfits because it is a Darth Vader suit in Evan's size. It might have been a little big.

More Baby Pics

Just a few more pictures of our sweet baby girl.
Check out her long fingers.
Evan and Kyle are doing great so far. They love holding her and check on her constantly. When she cries those two come running to make sure Brandon and I aren't neglecting their baby.

Hooray for baby girls!

We would like to introduce the newest edition to our growing family. This is Grace! She was born yesterday weighing in at 8lbs 7oz. and 21.5" long (that's 8 days before the due date). Aside from an epidural that wasn't working, the delivery went relatively smoothly. Although Becca bore it well, in retrospect she doesn't know why anyone does it without an epidural. Gratefully, she was our lightest baby.Yes, she is a cutie patootie. She looks like a girly Evan with hair like Kyles.I must say, Becca looks amazing (and hot).Grace has a lot of dark hair on her head. Becca and I were both alarmed at the prospect of having to do girls hair.It took Kyle a little while to warm up to baby Grace. Previously, when asked if baby Grace could come live at our house, the response was always, "NO!" After sitting on my lap for a bit and wathcing Evan hold her, he decided he would have a go. I think he fell in love with her at that point. He was very sweet. When we asked if we could take her home with us, this time, he said, "Yeah!"Evan held her for quite a while. He's a great big brother and we're sure he'll adore his little sister. He was bummed we had to stay the night with her and that she couldn't go home right away.
She seems like she'll be a good baby. But she can wail with the best of them if she is uncomfortable. Becca and the baby are doing well. Thanks for all the warm wishes and visitors in the hospital. We are a little tired, but there is sure to be more pictures to come.

What We've Been Up To

I realized it's been forever since I posted, so here is a quick update on us.
I have been working on getting bigger. I think I'm doing pretty well with that. This picture is from a couple of weeks ago, and it is the best picture I could get with a 4 year old photographer. We scheduled the induction for August 18th if I'm still pregnant, and it is starting to look like there may be a good chance I won't be. Lots of fun contractions at our house.Evan has been playing soccer again. It is amazing how much faster he is than last year. He can actually keep up with the kids, and I'm pretty sure it is all because we had his tonsils taken out and he can breath. He has had 3 games and scored a goal in each one which has been exciting. He loves playing goalie too.
Kyle has become a soccer fan and even learned to carry his own chair to the field which is great since I have a hard time carrying much and Brandon is usually at work.
We have also had a heat wave. So fun when you are 9 months pregnant. We have an air conditioner in the living room so we had a lot of slumber parties out there. This was the hottest night I think and the house hadn't started to cool down yet. That is sweat under poor Kyle's head.
Passed out on the couch after a long day in the lake (trying to stay cool). We survived the heat pretty well but I'm hoping we don't have to go through the 100 degree days again before I have this baby.
