The boys are starting to play together better and it is so fun to watch. This was a few mornings ago. First they enjoy breakfast together. Kyle always wants whatever Evan is having, this morning Honey Nut Cheerios. Frequently Evan talks to him about things too and they laugh and laugh. After breakfast it is off to Evan's room to play. I hope this keeps up.
The boys were a little unsure at first, but eventually they helped hollow them out (a little).
Evan picked out the design for his and was very impressed with Brandon's work when it was done.
Here are the four finished projects. A bat, pirate ship, weird monster, and the pumpkin of fire (as Evan has named it). For your information, I actually carved two of them this year, the bat and the pumpkin of fire (although Brandon designed it).
Here are the boys just before the trunk-or-treat/ carnival at the church. It was the only time I had them both sitting still all night.
Batman and his princess. Evan had fun showing Camryn around (we got there before them) and demonstrating how to do all of the different games before giving her a turn. He even walked with his hand behind her back guiding her to their next adventure.
When the trunk-or-treating finally started Kyle didn't get it at first. He did a few trunks then decided to eat a lollipop while I carried him to the rest. After watching Evan clean up on candy (he didn't get any while being carried) he took off on his own. He went over to the car next to us and hit them up for 6 or 7 pieces I think. This is him dragging back his loot.
They even did well on long car rides and shopping trips to various malls.

Kyle was a bit unsure of why he was sticking his head in the hole, but Evan thought they were hilarious. He tried out every one they had I think.

Evan found his just in time to catch the tractor back.
The boys have spent the past hour caring for their babies. They've changed their diapers, their clothes, and made sure they had shoes on. Currently they are tucking them in for bed, complete with hugs, kisses, and snuggling. So far I think they are doing a pretty good job as parents.
You've heard the "I've fallen and I can't get up" problem before. This is the lesser known, I've climbed up on a chair and I can't get down issue. He started screaming and my first thought was, I should take a picture so I can blog this....does that make me a horrible mother for not just wanting to rescue him? No worries, I got him down as soon as I finished taking pictures.

He has also enjoyed being a cat, Cat in the Hat, Fireman, and a Knight. Thanks for the dress up clothes cousins! They have already provided hours of entertainment.
Kyle has taken to "helping" with the laundry. Usually he gives me clothes, or puts stuff I give him into the dryer. Yesterday he decided it would be best to just check on the clothes in the basket. He dove in head first and then gave me this cute smile.
Once he is done with laundry, and dirtying his clothes to add to the laundry, it is time for a nap. I love how he always snuggles up with his blanket and a bottle on the couch.
