Devan and Meeja

We headed to Oregon again the beginning of August to celebrate the oldest Stucki grandkid getting married.
This is the best picture I could get of our three.  They had a blast running wild with cousins.
Kyle thoroughly enjoyed two huge bowls of ice cream.
Love his big brown eyes, do not love how old he is looking.

I love watching our kids play with eachother and their cousins.  Hopefully they are making some fun memories together.

Not the greatest picture but proof we were there.

Congrats Stuckis!

Summer Sun

We experienced another fun homeowner first - rotted fence post.  We spent a while digging the old cement out, but we succeeded.  Grace thought it was a fabulous project.  She grabbed her own shovel and "worked" with Brandon.

 Finn came out to supervise.
Papa and Grandma Sherry came to visit and we decided to go to the wildlife refuge and walk around.  Probably should have gone earlier since it was a hot day, but we enjoyed it in the heat.
The kids loved looking through all of these.

Not sure they were doing it right.

In the end we spotted a snake, 100 or so frogs (Evan counted), and only a handful of birds - although the birds could probably hear us coming and new to take off with Grace leading the way.

Camping

We realized we had very few open weekends, so we took advantage of one and headed out camping.  It was our first time taking a dog camping, and it went surprisingly well.  He did bark at the drunks in the middle of the night, but I didn't blame him for that.
We went on a "hike" that was kind of entertaining.  You were in the woods, then moments later in a field with a neighbors fence and horses right there, then back into the woods.

Didn't take any pictures of the campsite apparently, but we had a good time.  Less than 24 hours at the campground, but the kids were totally content with that.  It rained in the night, so we woke up, had breakfast in the tent, and arrived home by 9:30.

4th of July

We had so much fun this year with the 4th of July aka Brandon's birthday.
We had all of the Warning cousins in town which was so fun and entertaining.  Grace looks a little funny in the dress ups with the girls, but these three had a lot of fun together.
Kyle, Graham, and Gavin jumped on "the monster" over and over again for a few hours.  Apparently it was a game.

Baby Gwen got in lots of snuggle time.  So fun to cuddle a baby.
 Patriotic cousins

Dad and Bryce thought it would be a good idea to hold flower fireworks in their hands til they were good and lit then throw them into the water.  I'm amazed they didn't burn themselves.
Our birthday boy and puppy.  Finn handled his first 4th like a champ.

 Deacon looking very patriotic.
Camille had fun mustaches which Grace loved.

Brandon posing for birthday pictures with each of our munchkins.

Bryce had something you put in the fire to change the color of the flames.  Very cool.

We had a fabulous 4th with family, watched a few fireworks, then headed back to our house to get to bed long before the fireworks ended.
