Christmas Morning

Our kids actually had to be woken up Christmas morning in order to make it to my parents by 7.  I love the delirious faces of excitement.
Santa came to our house to fill stockings and leave presents, then we headed over to open our gifts with the rest of the family.  Santa did well this year, Swapforce characters for the boys and My Little Ponies for Grace.
Kyle eating from his new penguin Pez.  Kyle loves all things penguin, so he was really excited to find this in his stocking.  He also got a new Lego video game, Swapforce characters, Headbanz (a family game), sticker book, and some dvds for the airplane.
Evan checking out his loot.  He got Swapforce characters (the boys are obsessed with that right now), the Harry Potter dvds since he just finished reading the books, a sticker book, and a science kit.
Grace playing with her new puppy.  She was a little sad not to get a real dog, just a play one (she wanted both), but she loves her puppy Sky.  She got dvds for the plane, Disney princess toys, and sticker books for the plane too.  All in all it was a great Christmas morning.  Not so much stuff that the kids were overwhelmed, and they seemed pretty grateful and happy with what the got.  A victory in my book.
