Two weeks ago Evan had a day off of school, so we decided to take the kids on a surprise outing. We packed snacks and loaded them in the car and let them try to guess where we were going. They guessed a far away Costco, the mall, the mushroom farm... they dream real big. They were very excited when we arrived at the zoo instead.

Grace was brave and petted anything that would come near her.
So hard to get them all looking in the same direction. They loved looking at the sharks and seahorses in the aquarium.
My cute boys. If you look close you can see the penguin swimming around which is what they were all mesmerized by. 
This was Grace most of the time. Eating snacks in the stroller, and occasionally looking up to see an animal or two.

Great day to be at the zoo. It's a place we didn't make it to this year. Bummed I didn't see those baby tigers.
