Brandon has always wanted a garden, so when we moved into this house we agreed to plant one. It's nothing huge, but check out what we've managed so far. We have three 4 ft x 4 ft beds.
The front row is jalapenos, then green peppers, then two rows of a bunch of different tomatoes. We bought these as starts so the growth isn't as incredible as it looks.
Evan's picture makes the tomatoes look huge.
We also bought 2 big blueberry bushes for the boys. They love eating my parents' blueberries and are very excited to eat these ones too (they still plan on eating my parents'). The cement is the pad for the air conditioner.
We aren't having as much luck with starting the squash from seed. So far only 2 have sprouted, but those 2 look good. We figure we will go buy starts as soon as ours are the same size as a start.
Tiny little lettuce.
Kyle is so excited about the tiny carrots.
Peas. These are coming up awesome. They are doing better too now that we put down some slug bait.
We thought our beans were duds, but just today we spotted a bunch that look like this. We may actually get some produce out of our yard this year. Very fun!

Look at your so "green"! You should grow giant pumpkins next
Jealous!!! I want a garden so badly, but hopefully just 2 or 3 more years of renting :) Enjoy the good eats!
Those look amazing!!! I can't wait for you to enjoy these great things!! I'm jealous...we only got 2 tomato plants in this year. They look great...you guys are awesome!
Did you get complimentary blueberries, or two of the same kind? We didn't get any berries for awhile because we didn't realize that you have to have the right kind to pollinate. Gardening is so fun. We plant colorful carrots and the kids love eating the ones that are purple, yellow and white. Hope the new puppy doesn't like to garden! Congrats!
Way to go!!
