We got home from the Bahamas just in time for Brandon's birthday.
He requested a trifle from my mom which was delicious.
Bryce and Camille and kids came down to celebrate, so after dinner we did some pop its and little fireworks in the driveway. Grace thought they were all too loud.
Then the kids decided they were all nervous and they hid on the porch. At this point Bryce was launching things in the lawn.
Kyle declared himself too tired for fireworks and laid down inside.
Pop-It war
Mom and Dad thinking we are all crazy.
Bryce bought smoke bombs too, so they started setting them up and dancing through the smoke while Camille made a slow motion video of it.
Then on to sparklers.
I went in to try to talk Kyle into sparklers and found him like this. He slept through all of the fireworks that night. The lake wears this kid out.
It was too hot for a fire so the birthday boy made us smores in the oven.
Finn, not really phased by the fireworks. He laid on Brandon's lap and stayed pretty calm despite it sounding like a war zone outside.
Grace finally got her headphones so the noise didn't bug her as much. Check out the sweet tan lines from her rash guard.
We ended the evening with a little 4th of July dress up. Overall, a great 4th.
