Our Day

I loaded these backwards, but here is what we did today. My dad showed the boys how to give feathers to the swallows. We did this all the time when I was little so it was a lot of fun to watch the boys do it too. The swallows were dive bombing the boys and about hit them a couple of times.
Grace watched the boys, and posed in her cute outfit. The 18 month outfit is a little snug on her almost 9 month thighs. Her stats as of Wednesday were
Height: 29.75 inches (100+%)
Weight: 21 lbs 14 oz (90% or so)
Head Circumference: 48 cm (100+%)
Her noggin was so big they measured it twice just to be sure. It is way off the charts, as is her length. So, despite her look she is long and lean.
We took the kids to the fun fair today (twice). We told Evan this is the only time we ever want to see him in the back of a police car.
For the second year in a row, we waited for free rides on the ponies. For all of you who don't think Kyle ever smiles, check out that grin. He was pretty pumped about riding it all by himself.
Evan was playing it cool this year.
What, you think Grace is too small to ride a pony? Not so. She had fun petting the pony and riding until it sneezed and shook, then she burst into tears. This was right before my dad pulled her off and rescued her.
I just thought this was funny. Kyle couldn't get the plastic fish to stay on his rod, so he reached in and grabbed one.
