New Haircut

Okay Leigh, sorry it has been 4 days since I posted. I got a haircut today so I thought I'd show it off. This is actually my natural curl, no curling iron. It looked a little better before I napped on it, but you get the idea. I hope it looks cute straight too. We'll see tomorrow I guess.

I'm Back

Okay, I have no pictures yet, but I figure I would mention why I have fallen off the face of the blogging world for the past week and a half. We've been sick, and teething. Well, Brandon wasn't sick, but he has been working a ton. We just had a cold, but it came with a fever (for everyone) which left me exhausted. Kyle ended up with his first ear infection. I just barely made it to the doctor Friday to get that looked out, but thank goodness because it meant I didn't have to go to the ER over the weekend. I think we are all well, or at least mostly well, now. Kyle's teeth (I think there are 4 getting close) have yet to show themselves, but he must be getting used to it because he is pleasant again.
In more exciting news, we got a new mattress this week which is fabulous. We upgraded to a king and it was well worth it as I've had both boys in bed with me multiple times this week. The other excitement, Kyle learned to crawl. It is a goofy crawl, but he is moving. He is also pulling himself up on the furniture and walking along it too. So, I am keeping the floor much cleaner and we are finding things we need to baby-proof again.
I'll work on some video and pictures, but that is the report on the last 10 days of my life. So fun. I think Brandon was glad he was working so much.

Happy Valentine's Day

Well this is what my Valentine's Day is amounting to. Two cute boys watching the ever so romantic Ratatouille with me. Brandon had to work, so here I am with my two Valentines. I did get pretty flowers, which I love, and a jewelry box. All in all, a pretty good day.

Future Photographer

The sun came out today for the first time in forever so the boys and I went for a walk. I decided to let Evan bring our old camera so he could take pictures of things to make a poster later (he loves to make posters). These are just a few of his favorites.The speck by the crack is a bug he wanted to get a picture of.

There are no monsters

We came home from errands late tonight and Kyle was crying in the car. This happens a lot when it is dark, but tonight Evan decided to comfort him. I could hear him talking quietly to him and this was what I got to hear.

It's okay Kyle, there are no monsters. That is just Mommy and Daddy. That is your Mommy, and your Daddy. They will keep you safe.

I thought it was so cute. I guess telling Evan there are no monsters is finally working and he decided to fill his little brother in. It made me smile.

Funny Baby

Okay, we are finally trying the video thing. I love Kyle's laugh. He is obviously a wee bit ticklish.

Photo Shoot

We found this jean jacket at Children's Place yesterday. Just our luck, it was 50% off the clearance price. We took it up front and the cashier tried to tell us it wasn't on sale until we showed her the sign, which she promptly took down. So, we got a bargain. Evan loves it, and unlike every other jacket, he wears this one all the time, even just around the house.
