Egg Decorating
Okay, I'm going to try to get caught up. Last Friday we decorated Easter eggs. My sister was home, and since Brandon worked all week, I took the boys over to my parents' place to decorate. Evan thought it was great fun, although he did squeeze a few of them a little too tight when he was trying to draw on them, and they cracked. We ended up with enough for the family egg cracking competition though. I don't know if Evan just drew a lucky spot in the bracket, or if he is just a natural, but he won the whole competition. His green egg was a lucky one.

Play Date
We met up with our neighbors today at the Hands On Children's Museum. Evan and Camryn had a blast together . It is amazing how well they get along. Evan is already asking when we are going to see her again, and what we're going to do, and if she can come over and play with his toys. Jamie and I had fun chatting and holding the babies while these two ran around together. These aren't the greatest photos, but you get the idea.
There was a new dental section where the two of them practiced brushing their teeth.

They were trying to make an imprint of their faces in the giant wall of plastic pins.
Kyle enjoyed this shovel. All in all, a great time. We'll have to figure out what to do to entertain them next.
Teeth
Kyle has been teething for about a month now I think. It has been really bad for the past week or so as his gums have been bright red and swollen. He is miserable. Tylenol doesn't seem to help, and he has been getting up 3 or 4 times a night (of course Brandon has been working extra nights lately). Well, we are finally making progress. Wednesday he got his first two teeth. That's right, two in one day. There are still four more that I can see coming. One more turned bright white and swollen Thursday, so hopefully it will make an appearance soon. We could all use a little more sleep.

Tag...I'm it again
Okay, I've done this twice now, but this one is different from the others, so here we go again.
10 YEARS AGO: I was finishing up my junior year of high school. Brandon and I had been dating for a year and a half (I know, totally against the rules), and I was getting ready for fastpitch season to start. Not too terribly exciting. I was really sick this year of high school too. I had wrist surgery, mono, pink-eye (at the same time as mono), and weird chest pains. It made for a long year.
5 THINGS ON MY TO-DO LIST:
1. Ironing
2. Weed the backyard sometime when it isn't rainy, and decide what flowers to plant this year
3. Catch up on my scrapbooking, which will forever be on my to-do list I think
4. Clean the windows and mirrors
5. Figure out what we are going to do for entertainment the next 3 days while Brandon is sleeping all day
5 SNACKS I ENJOY:
1. Candy-not too often though
2. Wheat Thins
3. Cheddar Cheese rice cakes
4. otter pops
5. Fruit Snacks
5 Places I've Lived:
1. Bremerton, WA
2. Lacey, WA
3. Olympia, WA
4. Germany
5. Provo, UT
WHAT WOULD I DO IF I SUDDENLY BECAME A BILLIONAIRE:
Hmmmm.....Probably move into a little bigger house, decorate everything the way I want it, and go on a few vacations (Disney World, Yellowstone, Europe).
5 JOBS I'VE HAD:
1. Grocery Bagger at Albertsons
2. Painter for the school district
3. Calculus paper grader at BYU
4. Donut decorator
5. Math Teacher (aka babysitter of kids who hate math)
5 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME:
1. I learned how to play the organ when I was in high school (don't tell anyone)
2. I love going through things (closets, bedrooms, the garage) and throwing things out or taking them to Goodwill
3. I do our taxes every year, by hand...no turbo tax (although I did figure out how to check it on turbo tax and I always get what they do)
4. I've gone to the Spaghetti Factory for my birthday for all but one of the past 15 years
5. I don't like reading, although I joined a book club to try to encourage me to read and I'm starting to like it a bit more
YOU'VE BEEN TAGGED: Jamie-your new to the blogger world so you haven't had to do this yet

Crazy Dog???
Last night they went to bed. The dog was in bed with them, the door was shut, and the alarm was on. About 12:30 someone starts playing the piano. This of course scares them to death. My dad gets up to scare off the intruder. He turns on the hall light and the piano playing gets faster. As he comes around the corner to see who is playing the piano, he finds and opossum. Not a baby, a big one...bigger than the dog. He gets a duster and starts running around trying to scare it out of the house (in his underwear). I really wish I had pictures. The opossum ran all through the house, over the computer, through the kitchen, into the guest bedroom, into the crib, (hissing at my dad the whole time) before finally getting out of the house about 15 minutes later. There was not much sleeping at their place after that. Thank goodness I kept the dog at our house Friday because the opossum has been in their house since then, and it would have scared the crud out of me. I think I would have called the cops to see if they could come get it. Also thank goodness it didn't come out while they were awake or decide to sleep in their room. Anyway....at least it is over and everyone is fine. Also, thank goodness they didn't put poor Leo down. He is still going to have his check up, but we're thinking he probably isn't crazy.
