Evan started his first basketball season tonight. He is on a 3 and 4 year old team in an attempt to help him have a positive experience (soccer was a little rough on him at times). The hoop is only 3 inches taller than him, but dunking is not allowed.
Here he is before practice. Definitely dressed for his sport. The attired must have helped because he even scored two points during the scrimmage at practice.
Here he is after practice. You can't tell, but the side of his face opposite the swollen eye is all red from an encounter with another boys head. I think the eye is from a run in with someones hand because there is a fingernail scratch on it too (he tried to wrestle a ball away from a kid during the scrimmage). He did well through the first injury, but the second one did cause some tears. Who knew basketball with 4 year olds would be so tough?
