Christmas Morning

I know I've been a slacker with the posts lately, but in my defense, things have been kind of crazy with family in town. Today everyone is back to their own homes and we are back to normal. It is sad to see everyone go, but getting back to some sort of routine will be nice for the boys. So, now you finally get some Christmas photos. This is how bleary eyed my boys look when forced to wake up at 7 am. They prefer 8 o'clock, and even then need an hour of cartoons before they are ready to take on the day. These are their presents from Santa. Never has Kyle given up his blanket so quickly as when he saw "Melmo" sitting in the living room. He got Tickle-Me-Elmo, not the new fancy Elmo Live, but he loves it.
Evan's much anticipated Diego Scooter. He was so glad Santa pulled through with this one. We had too much snow to take it out so he rode it around the house for the first two weeks. Also, those were the boys Christmas Eve jammies. After they checked out the loot that Santa brought we headed over to my parents to open the rest of the presents. They were at very fun ages for present opening this year, although Kyle got distracted by the first few things he opened and didn't care what he opened at the end. I need to be better about taking more pictures Christmas morning, but I was having too much fun just watching their faces and reactions to it all. You could tell Kyle wasn't really sure why it was all happening, but he was definitely a fan.
I love this picture. Kyle was really excited about some books he got and wanted to have them read, but he came back to watch Evan open the present "he" got him. He helped pick out a Spongebob floor puzzle which they have both thoroughly enjoyed. Evan thought Kyle was so thoughtful to pick out a big boy puzzle for him.
